She's not throwing "parties" just to throw them. MZCAMILLE attempts to provide events that unite the whole city of Cleveland. Especially young professionals that would love to work with other young professionals.MZCAMILLE is not only sexy...the woman is intelligent, and has the drive and heart of someone that you will mos def see at the top of the world soon.

If you think you may have seen MZCAMILLE before...that could be a possibility. She has been a bartender for more than 10+years. Starting out at some of Cleveland's premier clubsTheatricals (*only the most beautiful and elegant strip club ever...EVER...Cleveland had seen ...RIP Theatricals)THE OFFICE...another Cleveland spot that was the place to be awhile back, BeethovensLegacy LoungeVisionsLuxe...and the oh so elegant and exclusive EXECUTIVE LOUNGE, where MZCAMILLE is currently Head Bartender. You can find her there most nights, looking flawless with her amazing hair. (*MZCAMILLE knows she can rock a hairdo!* head roll finga snap)
Besides being a bartender...and not just any bartender...a damn good bartenderMZCAMILLEattended The Ohio Center For Broadcasting. She is co-host of "The 411 In 216" from the ladies point of view, an internet show about 216. You are probably thinking when does this superwoman have time to sleep? I'm still trying to figure it out myself.MZCAMILLE also manages several artists in the Clevelandarea, promotes music for the citytakes care of her kids, and still manages to be fly...all the time.

I feel there are so many strong, intelligent women out here that go without being noticed. I hope to keep pushing for us...to be front runners.

MZCAMILLE only has 10 fingers...(*last I counted) and trust me they are all touching some kind of wonderful business opportunity for herself and the city of Cleveland. With her own company "Party Girlz Ent"a mobile food spot (*look for it this summer), her own possible social networking sitefashion line, and killer drinks....MZCAMILLE is an amazing role model for all women. Her strive and dedication is admirable, and she does it with suchclass...never underestimate the power of a strong black woman..."Hey Bartender...salude" XOXO

H.Y.F.R

Yoooooooo!!!!! Sooooo last night I was lucky enough to be able to go to the Drake CLUB PARADISE TOUR! Let me just say this....it was FREAKIN AWESOME!!!!!! The concert was held at Blossom Music Center. If you aren't from Cleveland let me describe Blossom to you. Blossom is an outside venue in the middle of nowhere basically in Ohio. It's a HUGE open space, with grassy knolls, and a GIGANTIC stage that's under a pavilion. When going to a concert at Blossom, people usually take a blanket to sit on the grass and hear their favorite musical artists. Me and my girl were lucky enough to score major tickets under the pavilion. (*100 bux + sum change, but totally worth it) The CLUB PARADISE TOUR was AMAZING! Not only was Drake there...but 2ChainzFrench MontanaMeek MillJ COLE,  and WAKA FLOCKA were all there riding together!!!! That's a lot of big name acts on one concert! I was thinking..."awww lawdy...someone is going to come up short at this concert". I was thinking that there was no way possible that all these big names would give great performances. *Yes I'm kicking myself right now...because I was mos def proved wrong!

Drake and 2 Chainz

Ok Okkkkkk let me get to DRAKE. I heard a lot of things about DRAKE. I don't know him personally, I've always been a fan of his music, and damn Degrassi. I wasn't sure what to expect from him, but his concert was 1 of the most amazing concerts I've ever been to! His set was amazing! The lights were perfectly placed on him, and followed him wherever he went to on the stage. His guitarist is soooo OFFICIAL!!!!! Sheesh......I couldn't believe that Drake was so humble and personable with the crowd. He covered most...well damn near all of his songs....he presented the concert as if he was on his way out to a club, and we the crowd were riding with him. He told a story. He never was short of breath, tho he sweated a lot...he seemed physically in shape and ready. He didn't hate on any of the haters that we've heard taking shots at him and Young Money lately. But he let the crowd know....that "I don't give a fuck what people say, I just wanna make good music, fuck good pussy, maybe have some kids, maybe fall in love, and get money"...hell who doesn't want that? Watching DRAKE live, made me realize how much of an impact he has had on many our our lives and the entertainment world. DRAKE is soooo far outta the box that it's hard for another to be compared to him. One minute he was rapping , next minute he was singing. I usually cringe when a guy attempts to sing, but it's something about Drake's voice that I find comforting. No matter if your a guy or a girl, you can relate to the things Drake speaks or sings about. His concert lasted about an hour and a half. 2Chainz made the concert TURN UP when he came out with DrakeWAKA FLOCKA also was a crowd pleaser. Drake literally took about 20 mins...shoutin out people he saw in the crowd (*including myself *hehehe) He would point them out by the color they were wearing, or screaming etc. Usually that would make the concert "drag" but it didn't! It made it seem like he really noticed his fans, and appreciated everyone who came out to support him and his tour.

WAKA FLOCKA

There were no fights, there were no "situations". Everyone was a fan that came out. It was beautiful to see so many people of so many different races, all at the same place for the same reason. You could tell that everyone felt the music from all of the performers. Although it was hot earlier in the day, the evening ended with a gentle cool breeze blowing across the venue. At first I was thinking that the 100 bux I shelled out was a bit much. But now after the concert that I went to...I almost felt liked I underpaid for the amount of entertainment I received. I lelt feeling warm inside....happy. I respect DRAKE so much more after the concert. He made me realize that it's still some artist out here that still do it for the love of their passion. WAKA FLOCKA did too! WAKA made middle age white people turn up! He seems to have a natural energy about him that is contagious. All in all it was a memorable event. I would do it all over again. Make sure you check out the  CLUB PARADISE TOUR! Check for dates! XOXO

Cell Phones in Da Air

HAIR WEAVE KILLAH

Sooooooo....I used to live on the Eastside of Cleveland, but for more than a decade I have lived on the Westside. I love everything about the Westside....except for the fact that there are like nooooooooo exclusive, professional, black owned hair salons. I had gave up all hope of having the flyest hairstyles...until recently. After many thrown pennies into the fountain at Tower City, after many candles blown out on my birthday cakes, and after many prayers to the Hair Gods, my dreams  finally came true!!! It was snowing outside one day, and as I turned the corner onto 45th and Lorain Ave, I noticed a new hair shop, Styles R Us Glam Studio! You will never be able to feel what I felt when I called the number...and SIR POO himself answered the phone! Mr. Hair Weave Killah!!!

Ok....so who is SIR POO you may ask. If you don't know who SIR POO is...Im almost 99.9% sure your baby mama, girlfriend, wife, ex-wife, grandma, bus driver, exotic dancer you tipped on the weekend or lady from church knows him. At least all of their hair knows SIR POOPOO is the hairstylist... sent from the Hair Gods themselves...to help rid the city and the world of messy ratchet hairdo's, and provide us with all the glamourous, uniquehealthycreative hair that we as women all dream of. SIR POO is the Chosen One! For more than 10 years and counting I've been fascinated by SIR POO's exclusive hairstyles. I have always been amazed by POO's creativeness when it comes to hairstyling.

He isn't ur average "hairstylist". Just his character alone sets him far above the rest. In a city like Cleveland its difficult at times for an individual to be just that...an individual. But POO has managed to be in complete control of his profession, lifestyle, career, business and fame. Say what you want....and *I have ran into many haters on that hater juice...but there is no denying SIR POO's talent.
His cliental includes all the local celebrities in Cleveland. He is most popular with the exotic dancers, who rely on him to make them look fly, polished and different from everyone else. SIR POO also has all of the church going ladies flocking to him as if Jesus passed SIR POO's card during Sunday's sermon. All of Cleveland's professional and independent business women keep him on speed dial for theirclassy ,sophisticated office looks, and little girls also are seen on a regular at the salon, getting twists, and braids and curls ,looking young and fresh for school. That's one thing about POOHe can do everything! Some stylist only do weave...not caring about the quality or condition of you real hair. SIR POO is certified, professionally trained and actually cares about the services he is offering. On any given day (except for Sun, Mon) you may find him doing a beautiful weave, flat ironing natural hair, cutting hair, or giving real consultations to his clients.

Speaking from experience, SIR POO sat me down when I rushed in for color one day. He took his time explaining to me what color would look right, making sure my hair was strong enough for the process. He asked me what I wanted, and yet he still advised me on what HE thought would be best, without being pushy or rude. In the end I left looking a million bux.
Returning for another orgasmic experience...I requested a quick weave. As you may know... most "beauticians" will glue hair on ya head with the quickness. Not caring about your baby hair or possible breakage. Poo being the master that he is...talked his way thru the procedure, and even took time to prepare my hair with special products that helped protect it from breaking off later. Once again...I left looking Fantastic!!!!

Styles R Us Glam Studio is immaculate! From the outside it seems as if it might be small, but once u crack the door...your eyes can't help but wander. The bright colors of yellow and red are easy on the eyes. The studio itself is spotless, and  Sir Poo has made sure to go out of his way to  make his clients feel comfortable. The modern chairs, and beautiful mirrors have been perfectly placed. *ATTN!!! All the dryers work!!!!!!!
There are a few things that  will sometimes discourage me from going to a hair appointment. I've found myself trying to avoid all the "hairshop gossip", or long waits while the stylist smokes, eats, or goes next door to play the numbers. At Styles R Us Glam Studio  you will NEVER run into these issues. Poo has so many clients from all walks of life and backgrounds, that its almost impossible to have a problem with anyone else in his salon. He suggests...or should I say...he requires that you* leave all negative energy in your car before entering thru the palace of the Hair God. There are no long waits. Poo has his time management down to a science. He makes sure all clients are in and out. Don't worry about frying and sweating under the dryer. There are huge flatscreen televisions mounted all over the salon for your entertainment, and sometimes you may even catch his own mother walking around the salon, offering cold beverages to satisfy your thirst. Which makes you dryer experience much more tolerable.

Speaking of entertainment, Styles R Us Glam Studio isn't for the shy and quiet. Be ready to laugh non-stop with jokes by SoSoJeff ...who is Poo's right hand man and also Nail Tech at the salon. Jeff is a master himself at the coolest, flyest nail designs in the whole city! At Style R Us Glam Studio, everyone has a good time. Some days chilled wine is served while you relax from a hard day. Pizza may be shared ....and music...there is always music being played!!!! Fellas, you should mos def be a little worried when your girl schedules an appointment with POO. Only because...having your scalp shampooed by SIR POOis nothing less than ORGASMIC!!!! Yes ORGASMIC!
You would think a person of POO's celebrity status would be as gossipy as the women he makes beautiful. That is totally false! POO is a wonderfulperson. He will listen to you spill your guts, and keep a genuine smile on his face. He may offer advice when needed...if that's what you are looking for...but other than that...he is a loyal and trustworthy friend.

If you have ever seen a woman and her hair looked flawless...SIR POO did it. If your girls hair blows in the wind with body and bounce...SIR POO did it. If you fly a girl in from out of town and she request her hair be done...Its a MUST that SIR POO does it. SIR POO only pumps out the freshest, most polishedamazing hair styles possible. He never falls short of perfection. If you are ever on the Westside of Cleveland, even if you aren't...trust me..the drive is well worth with. Book your orgasmic appointment today!!!!! Hair Weave Killah...cuz when he's finished with my hair...I always say "Damn Poo...u killed this sh*t! XOXO

OPEN YOUR EARS TO "LIGHTS"

ATTN: There is more to music than just "Hip-Hop". *WAIT!!! Before you leave! Just hear me out.* Don't get me wrong ...I LOVE "Hip- Hop"! I LOVE all kinds of music. Growing up in Shaker HeightsOhio...I was surrounded by an eclectic mix of people, and with that type of cultured upbringing I was introduced to a variety of music. I myself played Cello in the orchestra all throughout my school years. So I find myself having an appreciation for any kind of beat, or melody. I ask you to open your ears to "LIGHTS". Not only your ears, but you eyes. This song is hypnotizing! The beat is ridiculous, and the visual is breathtaking. Ellie is captivating as a 1 woman Super Being in this videoAnyone that appreciates the beauty of music, will mos def enjoy this song. I LOVE music that I find myself getting lost in. Music should make your body move on it's own. I ask you to put away your "stereotypes" and take a chance on enjoying something new. XOXO

IT'S GETTIN HOT IN CLEVELAND...#2

Now that the actual release day is over for the much anticipated #HotInCleveland2Mixtape hosted by the 1and Only...Dj Steph Floss, I feel more comfortable posting it for you. Don't get me wrong...I Aint Neva Scared *Bone Crusher voice. It's just that Cleveland is filled with a lot of "emotional", "passionate" people...and 1 thing Clevelanders do not play around with is... ClevelandMusic. In order for you to understand what I'm saying, or how I'm feeling...you will need to understand Cleveland MusicCleveland ...to me...is finally breaking ground as a  big "major city" for the music industry. Don't get me wrong, our city has made good music in the past *pause* I already know who you are gonna say ... "Bone Thugs N Harmony"...we get it ...ok. No disrespect to Bone cuz I love em to death. But Im speaking about Cleveland Music that's been hitting for the last 5 years. We found so much joy and happiness when Ray Cash was able to carry the torch for Cleveland artists, or when Al Fatz "Came Down" and when Ray Jr. became the "MAYOR".Young Shank and Paper Chase paved the way for artists reppin their hoods, and when Chip Tha Ripper threw up the SLAB, and MGK made us all "Wild Boys"...we felt as if Cleveland was finally on the map...respected and appreciated.
What can I say....Cleveland is a love n hate kinda city. Like I said, emotions run high, probably because it's a lot of hungry artists out here all trying to get their foot in the same door. There is only a small window of opportunity. The ratio of labels, and artists is unbalanced. So you can't blame people for being aggressive, emotional or even at times left feeling under-rated. Which brings me back to  HIC2. When I heard Dj Steph Floss was releasing another mixtape...I was thinking..."Man...Dj Steph Floss has some big kahunas". I mean thats a HUGE responsibility for 1 man. Imagine being Steph...and having damn near every artist in the city of Cleveland...constantly hitting you up, blowing you up, emailing , tweeting, face booking, probably following him to the gas station...just to try and have their music heard and hopefully get a slot on  the HIC2 mixtape. That's hella music to go thru! I trust Dj Steph Floss's palette for music. I mean he does always come with the hot new music for us to hear, *don't try and deny it. If it wasn't for him some of us would  be lost like it's still 2010.
When the mixtape was released I kinda felt like everyone was trying to see if they made the roster. Some artists did, and of course some didn't. Hell thats life. In the end I feel like Dj Steph Floss did an AWESOME job...putting together the music and artists for Cleveland to enjoy. I've learned early in life...no matter what you say or do, you will never be able to make everyone happy. I've listened to HIC2 numerous times, and I can honestly say I RESPECT IT. Some people may have been overheard whining about the roster, or asking questions of "why didn't I make it"....people shouldn't think like that. Get on ya grind! It's not just about making hot music. @TROPIKANA once said "What's the point of making hot music, if no one will ever hear it?" I respect Dj Steph Floss for taking on the challenge. Cleveland is a tough city to please. I love my city. I love all the artists trying to make it in this city, and I mos def respect the grind, and with that being said...I hope you listen to HIC2 with an open ear for music. If you didn't make the mixtape keep pushing. Don't knock the next man, and make sure you give Dj Steph Floss a round of applause for his contribution to Cleveland music . You are probably wondering..."Jenny Pooh, what's our favorite track on HIC2?" #14 @EzWhiteWG, @KizzyWG and @Pheens "We Got Now"XOXO

FOR THE LOVE OF 3's

If you didn't already know....Im a HUGE sneakerhead. I've always been one since I was a kid. Yes I was the kid cutting class, just to hit up Randall Park Mall and cop a pair of the freshest J's.  I will admit, I got sum of the fattest ass whoopings for cutting school....but  it was worth it at the time. My ass might have hurt...but my feet sure did look good afterwards (*headroll finga snap). Now that I'm grown...I still get excited with re-releases of sneakers...especially J's. Maybe it's the memories of childhood...saving chore money...or pathetically begging my mom for days, sometimes weeks for the latest pair. Sneakers are like a universal bond that connects strangers, music, art, sports and everyday life. There used to be nothing better than having a group of friends... hovered over a crumpled Eastbay catalog...picking out sneakers...talking shit...cappin about all the sneakers you were gonna have on your birthday. Think about it...when were  young...usually the first gift to give or receive ...to signify your "relationship"...was a pair of sneakers. Like "yoooooo my girl just bought me some J's", or "girlllll he must love me, he bought me some sneakers".

Over the years there have been many sneakers I might have liked...but til this day the AIR JORDAN CEMENT 3's (black) are and will...always be my favorite sneaker EVER! I will never forget when I saw Michael Jordan wear them in the 1988 Dunk Championship. Spike Lee used to rock them when he was clowning as "Mars Blackmon". Sure I've seen other colors...but the black is my favorite. Maybe its the Jumpman Logo...maybe its cuz they are durable. If I happen to do the unthinkable...and scuff my Jordan's...its not that noticeable. But God forbid I do that...scuffing my sneaker is like scratching my heart. When I found out that they were re-leasing the 3's..I felt like life was complete for a moment. I tell people all the time..."If you don't do anything in life....please respect my sneakers...especially my J's". If you are a collector of retros or anything worth something...these CEMENT 3's are a must have. XOXO

EARTH NIGHT CLUB

Ok.....sooooo don't get me wrong. I like to consider myself to be "Grown and Sexy", but that doesn't mean I have to enjoy myself in an atmosphere where the decor is more attractive than the experience. That's why I find myself enjoying Earth Night Club more and more. The club is located right Downtown in the Flats. When in Earth, you can mos def tell that crowd that came is either there to enjoy the latest music, check out an artist performing live, or playing it cool in the VIP. Earth's VIP is cool cuz it allows those VIP's to still be roped off with velvet ropes, enjoy top shelf liquor and champagne and still have access to the dance floor. I dunno, Ive always enjoyed a "real crowd". Not people just standing around, mackin walls, and mean muggin. Not to mention (but I will) Earth has awesome laser lights and smoke action, plus a HUGE stage! It's not to stuffy and its very spacious. If your in Cleveland you should check it out! You will most likely bump into local celebrities such as CHASE, RAY JR., and QUINCY TAYLOR aka @Bigheff himself. If you are an artist, Earth Night Club hosts the NerveDj's Conference as well as showcases and concerts. Hopefully I will see you there! Oh and remember to dress your best cuz the crowd is extra fresh. XOXO
